I am looking forward to getting back to the classroom. I have been gone the last two days getting some training with the other third grade and fourth grade teachers. We have been getting trained to do reading assessments that will help our struggling readers to improve.
The first day with the sub went well and I assume the second day will as well. It is very nice to be able to trust the class with a sub for a day or two. Their good behavior enables the sub to teach the same lessons that they would be learning if I was actually their. That is a very comforting feeling for me.
After two days of training I am excited to get back to the room and working with the students.
