The homework for tonight is a very informal. Your child has been instructed to ask for something to measure with and then to estimate different things around home and then measure them to see how close they were. They may record their measurements and estimations and bring them back but they don't have to.
We have been working on measuring as we started our measurement unit in math. We will also be wrapping our 2nd week of Unit 2 in reading up this week. There will be a spelling test tomorrow. I hope you have been preparing the last two weeks.
I have added a couple of great links to work on Math and Reading skills based off of MAP test scores. These will make more sense after conferences. In the next week or so you should be getting a conference sheet to confirm the time. Please return the lower portion of this as instructed.
